Our New Home
The building at 125 Spring St, which dates to 1932,
incorporates elements from the art deco period, and
follows the mission style typical of most Sinclair
Service Stations from that era. Elements of the southwest,
with roof tile accenting, overhanging canopy and an
adobe finish of stuccoed masonry were common features
of those stations across the country. In renovating
the building for its current use, owner Sanford (Sandy)
Byers sought to maintain the flavor of the original
design, adding glass block walls of the deco period.
